Meet Your Guide
Martha Nieset has a MS in Rural Sociology focused on communities and social change. Two years ago she moved to Granada, Nicaragua with her then 7 year old son. They both studied S2015-05-15 17.47.46panish, engaged in the culture and community and adventured around the country. During that time Martha worked with VivaNicaragua!-Center for Social Justice and Cultural Understanding connecting university students in service, cultural engagement and learning opportunities in the Granada community. It was then that she realized her love for this work founding Nicaragua Immersion, with a mission to connect others who want to make friends in the community, learn Spanish, experience Nicaraguan culture, and its natural wonders up close.
